Welcome to Friendswood Youth Baseball’s Spring 2026 season!

Registration

• Open Registration: November 1 – December 31 at 11:59 PM ($315)
• Late Registration: January 1 – ($400) – Late registration does not guarantee a spot. If your player isn’t placed on a roster, your payment will be fully refunded.
• Refunds: Available until December 31, 2025. Beginning January 1, 2026, no requested refunds will be issued. Waitlist refunds will be issued after Jan. 10.
• Special Pricing (4U Division – FOAL): Early Bird: $175, Regular: $190, Late: $350

Tryouts & Drafts

• Tryouts (5U–12U Divisions): January 10-11
  • No Tryouts for 4U (Foal),  and 13U/14U (Colt)
• Drafts/Team Formation: January 12-16
• Meet the Coaches Event at Dick’s Sporting Goods (Webster): January 24

Practice & Game Commitment

• 4U Division (Foal): Practices begin the week of January 26 with one weekday practice (about 1 hour) and one Saturday practice each week. Once the season starts (February 28), teams typically have one weekday practice and one Saturday game. Some weekends may be off depending on scheduling.

• All Other Divisions: Practices begin week of January 26, with each team having two practices per week (Monday–Saturday). Exact days and times are set by each coach and will be shared once players are placed on teams.

• Games begin February 28 and continue through May. Teams can expect 1–2 games per week, with occasional make-up games and practices.

• Schedule Notes: While we aim for a consistent pattern, game days and times may vary based on field availability, weather, and league operations. The full schedule is a work in progress and may be updated as the season progresses.

• Opening Day: February 28, 2026

• Games:
  • Scheduled Monday–Saturday.
  • All games are played at Renwick Park.

Residency & Eligibility

• Friendswood Residents: Priority is given to resident players.
• Non-Residents:
  • May register, but will initially be placed on a waitlist.
  • Waitlisted players will be notified by January 10, 2026 whether they are cleared to play.
  • If they are not placed on a team, a full refund will be issued.
  • Registration is first come, first served, so sign up early.
